South Dakota State University (SDSU) is taking a significant step towards preparing its students for an increasingly AI-driven world by establishing the Center for AI Innovation and Emergent Technologies. Victor Taylor, the vice provost for graduate education and extended studies and co-executive director of the center, stated that producing "generative AI-literate" graduates will enhance South Dakota's reputation as a center for technological innovation. Rajesh Kavasseri, another co-executive director and associate dean for research, also emphasized the center's role in transforming research practices.
